It is a great honor for us to now also be able to offer you the wines of Ca ’del Baio, because this winery of the Grasso family is one of the absolute highlights from Piemonte. This family business has 25 ha of vineyards, most of which are planted with Nebbiolo. In addition to their acclaimed Barbaresco wines, they have a very nice range of the most typical wines from the region such as Barbera d 'Alba, Langhe Chardonnay & amp; Dolcetto d'Alba.
Grape: 100% Chardonnay from vineyards with the typical blue marl in the subsoil.
Winemaking: Classic vinification and further refinement for 12 months in French barriques.
Color: Straw yellow with golden hues and a beautiful sparkle.
Nose and taste: A rich nose with exotic fruit, notes of butter, toast and vanilla. It is a full-bodied wine, with a warm mouthfeel and a long finish.
