La Campagnola has been run by the Campagnola family for 4 generations. It was great-grandfather Carlo who founded the winery in 1886 and today Luigi & Guiseppe are at the head of this thriving company. This house has wonderful range of typical wines of the region.
Grape : Corvina, Rondinella & Molinara coming from an old vineyard named after the great-grandmother "Caterina Zardini".
Winemaking : A rigorous selection of grapes is left to dry for 20 days on straw mats in a well ventilated area : "l'appassimento" and only then carefully pressed. The Valpalicella is refined for 12 months in large oak barrels.
Color , Nose & Taste : A complex and lively bouquet, in which the perfumes of ripe amarenas, cinnamon, toasted almonds and tobacco can be recognized. A tasty, warm wine with a very balanced structure.
Pour with: Very tasty with lamb, small game or pasta with pumpkin
Storage: This beautiful wine will continue to evolve in the bottle for at least 5 years.
